The security of dogs and borrowers is taken very seriously. To ensure trust in our community, we have taken the following measures. Any violation of these rules may result in exclusion from Meet My Doggo.
- Veterinary cost coverage and Accident damage cover : Your dog is covered in case of an accident when under the care of a borrower. This is only to premium members.
- 24/7 veterinary assistance: The well-being of the dogs is paramount. Meet My Doggo offers a veterinary assistance phone number, accessible 24/7. So if a dog has a problem when with a borrower, professional advice is available immediately.
- Identity certification: Anyone registering on Meet My Doggo has the opportunity to have their identity verified, whether they are the owner and/or borrower, to ensure a climate of trust and serenity for all members of our community.
- Code Conduct: Anyone registering with Meet My Doggo is committed to respecting this pact.
- Control of your personal data: Your address, phone number, and email are never revealed by Meet My Doggo. You have total control of this information, and you will reveal it to other members at your discretion, through private messages.
- The Dog Form: Before entrusting their dog, owners must fill out a form giving complete information about the dog's habits and behavior, as well as the instructions they want the borrower to respect, and the people to contact in case of emergency (including their veterinarian).
- The Leash Removal Permission Form: Outside their home, borrowers must keep the dog they are entrusted with on a leash at all times. However, when the owner feels that sufficient trust has been established, they can give permission for the leash to be removed, subject to certain conditions.
