How to know if you can trust a borrower with your dog?

Once your dog and a potential borrower have met, how do you know if they're ready to spend time together? Here are several signs that they're ready:
- They feel comfortable with each other - your dog has a positive attitude towards the borrower and enjoys their presence.
- Your dog follows the borrower's commands and responds when they call.
- You've discussed the appropriate behavior around your dog, what to do and what not to do.
- Your dog accepts to be walked on a leash by the borrower.
If these signs are evident, then you can decide to trust your dog to that borrower! We advise you to start by trusting them for a short period of time.
